This is meant to be a community forum to share pictures and ideas. I took this shot of Shea on the LaSalle Street Bridge in Chicago. You'll get more attention, I think, if you go back to the forum and then "Create New Post" and have a post dedicated to your image.
Love this, Greg! Great timing with her feet. I'm wondering if she had to fall after going up like this. Love the DOF separation from the background. Great job!
Sharing this photo I took with Met Opera dancer and former Rockette Erin Monteleone in NYC. It was pouring at the moment and shooting was definitely not easy!
A shot from earlier this year with one of the dancers from Oakland Ballet. I had my assistant hold my flash attached to a boom arm outside of the frame on camera left.
A shot from earlier this year with one of my photo ambassadors, Olivia. We have an industrial yard near our studio, so I had her crawl into some large piping, placed a flash behind her, and shot away. Pretty pleased with the result!
I invited two dancers from Ballet BC into the studio to play with light and movement. The theme was "eclipse" and some music we adored. Linda Arkelian was my collaborator.
An impromptu move by Sara Bentman in Rittenhouse Square, Philadelphia.
Dancer along Flathead Lake in Bigfork Montana.
