Since the start of shelter-in-place here in California, a lot of my friends who are creatives have lost their jobs and livelihoods. She has overcome setbacks in her life and rose above them. So, this wasn't going to stop her. She wanted to dance and create. So, we decided to do a dance shoot social distance style. I used an 85mm lens so that we can have some distance between us. It was a fun shoot. The theme was to blend the beauty of ballet with grunge. So, I told her there are several abandoned buildings all around Alameda since it use to be a former naval air base.
