Here are some resources for photographers, dancers and their families that promote  .  Pas de Deux Photo, LLC cannot endorse the work of any organization. But we have heard good things about these groups.

Organizations

YPADnow.com  Youth Protection Advocates in Dance The mission of Youth Protection Advocates in Dance® is to provide dance professionals with the skills and resources to protect and develop healthier and safer dance environments.

 

Danscend  - Danscend’s mission is to bring mental wellness to the forefront of dance training by providing a space for education, application, and community to dancers, educators, and professionals.

 

SafeSport - The U.S. Center for SafeSport is an independent nonprofit committed to building a sport community where participants can work and learn together free of emotional, physical and sexual abuse and misconduct.

 

Dance Education Equity Association-  organization dedicated to supporting dance education through our BE COURAGEOUS courses and community collaboration. We provide education and establish policies, procedures, and compassionate accountability pathways to embed anti-racism, anti-othering, and anti-abuse practices into the DNA of dance education.

RAINN - RAINN (Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network) is the nation's largest anti-sexual violence organization. RAINN created and operates the National Sexual Assault Hotline (800.656.HOPE, online.rainn.org y rainn.org/es) in partnership with more than 1,000 local sexual assault service providers across the country and operates the DoD Safe Helpline for the Department of Defense. RAINN also carries out programs to prevent sexual violence, help survivors, and ensure that perpetrators are brought to justice.
