Jennifer Curry Wingrove

Jennifer Curry Wingrove, 2022 Grand Prize Winner Pas De Deux International Photography competition and Portrait Photographer of the Year PPA San Diego, is a Ballerina turned Photographer. With expertise in both worlds, she loves combining both passions into one art form. Jennifer is a former renown Ballerina, Teacher, Choreographer, Producer, and award-winning Director and Choreographer. Her photography experience started at a young age, when she shadowed her mother who was at that time the Ballet Company’s official dance photographer. Jennifer grew up with a darkroom in her garage, and learned photography skills through both experience and classes. Fast forward to her dance career retirement, Jennifer then dove into dance photography as a full-time passion and kept dance alive in her life. Her photography reflects her expertise in dance and visual storytelling, and her style translates dynamic movement into powerful transformative images. Though Jennifer’s forte is dance photography, her client includes anyone who desires images that best represent who they are and what they stand for, whether it reflects family, lifestyle, or a precious moment in one’s life journey. Jennifer collaborates with her clients from beginning to end in producing their visual needs.
