Ashkan Roayaee of Ashkan Image in Houston discusses how he gets his amazing flowing fabric shots, and the distinct large flowing dresses that are sometimes custom-made for his dance photography.
Ashkan works with dancers from the Houston Ballet and other professional dancers, as well as pre-professional dancers wanting to add his iconic images to their portfolio. Along with working with fabrics and dresses, Ashkan produces sharp images of dancers in action, sometimes using a small trampoline to improve their leaps.
