The series was all about color. I played with the shapes of the dancers as a group and also their wardrobe colors corresponding to the color they were in front of. This wall is something I pass by often and have always been slightly obsessed with. I'm so glad I finally made my vision come to life.

African dancer series exploring culture heritage through color and movement. Gel-colored lighting were added to light the background or Ola's body to coordinate with his costumes and accentuate the energy. In contrast, the two BW shots ground viewer's intention on the essence of his movement.

This incredible duet (Ella and Devin) was absolutely mesmerizing to watch. They have competed with a number titled Aikido. They are both very athletic dancers so it was a perfect choreography for them. It was such a pleasure to capture them in my studio.
